• Hi. This plugin does exactly what I need it for but I’m getting a perculiar glitch. It’s showing the “Read the rest” text at the top of my Woocommrce store under the navigation, which I obviously dont want and I can’t seem to make it go away!

    Any ideas?

    For some reason can’t get that image to load.

    Can you send over the website URL or upload the image on https://imgur.com/ and send over the image URL.

    HI again. I’ve moved it out of Local Flywheel and onto a subdomain now. The link is https://bridget.orangebadger.co.uk/store/ and the image showing the text is https://imgur.com/NJGUUJt

    It works exactly as desired on the blog archive page but it’s appearing under the navigation on the store archive page too!

    UPDATE: I’ve just noticed that it’s also showing on the Porfolio archive page too, just under the main navigation

    Hi,

    Sorry for the wait, weekend slowed things down.

    You’re not using a free theme so we don’t have access to the theme to test it out with our plugin. Can you try going to WP admin > Settings > Excerpt and you’ll see an option called “Filter” in there, disable the checkbox for the_content() and save.

    If that does not work out I’ll contact the theme author and see if they can send over a copy of the theme for testing purposes.

    Hiya. No worries for the delay, Easter and stuuf, fully understand

    Alas, unchecking the filters made no difference.

    I just sent over a message to the theme author asking if he could send over a copy of the theme for testing purposes. Will keep you informed on what happens.

    Hi again. I also emailed the theme’s authors. Five days later and I’m still awaiting a response (which is a bit lame but that is for another place) but time is at a premium right now so I’ve come across a workaround using a blog manager.

    Sorry we couldn’t get the issue resolved. Hopefully they’ll answer soon and we can figure out what’s going on and get it fixed.
