[Plugin: Shadowbox JS] Shadowbox stopped working in Safari

    Hi,

    I just checked a site of mine in Safari and it seems that Shadowbox JS is not working.
    The JS code is there at the bottom of the page but links with “rel=”shadowbox” are opening in a new tab.

    I disabled two plugins: WP Super Cache and Slideshow Gallery but the problem persists.

    I removed highcharts.js from the header, and the images now (sb-container) load under the webpage content just before the closing body tag.

    Safari is set to open new windows/tabs in empty pages.
    If that helps I’m using JQuery with the plugin.

    So far no solution.

    Success!

    As I ruled out the <script> tags form the header I found some javascript code – which I have no idea how to get there and for what purpose, but after deleting it Shadowbox JS is working again.

    Can you be more specific about how you fixed this?

    What code did you delete?

    Having the same problem.
