[Plugin: SexyBookmarks | email, bookmark, and share buttons] Not showing on main blog index page

  • I’m a long time sexybookmarks user/fan, but recently I can’t get SBM to appear on my main blog index page.

    May be related: I recently changed my front page from a static page to “Your Latest Posts”.

    I tried deleting the pluging and all related files and reinstalling, but I must be missing something, because when I reinstall, it remembers my settings and the problem persists.

    FWIW, my theme is Headway, but I’ve never had a problem with Headway and SBM in the past.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated!

  • Have you made any other changes to your blog recently, such as activating additional plugins?

    @ C Reign- The only new plugin is Limit Login Attempts. The only other change was changing my front page from a static page to “Your Latest Posts”.

    Perhaps my expectations were incorrect? I thought that by checking ‘main index’ sexybookmarks would appear at the bottom of the index/posts page. They do appear at the bottom of any full posts on the index page, but not at the bottom of the page. Is this the normal behavior?

    Yikes! It looks like this post slipped through the cracks. When you select “main index” placement, your menu will appear on each blog post viewable in that stream without having to visit the permalinks. If this is not the behavior exhibited, it would be extremely helpful to review your blog directly. Thank you.
