Plugin Settings when pushing to live

  • Hello,

    I’m trying to understand something. Maybe someone here can help me sort this out.

    MY QUESTION IS ABOUT PUSHING FROM LOCAL TO A LIVE SITE; specifically in that direction.

    It is my understanding that when you have the box checked for “Do not push active plugin settings” that it will not do the following:

    1. It will not change an Activated or Deactivated STATUS on plugins in the live site from their status in the local site when pushing to live.

    2. It will not change any plugin settings WTIHIN specific plugins – activated or otherwise on the live site.

    Do I have that correct or am I understanding it incorrectly?

    Any help on this is appreciated, thank you!
