I installed a custom plugin for debug purposes on a customer site. Every time I tried to access its settings page, the request got redirected to the Speed Kit settings page. I ended up deactivating your plugin, otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to access my settings.

    Hi @glueckpress!

Thanks for your bug report! Could you please tell me which plugin you tried to install with Speed Kit? The redirect should actually only occur if one activates the Speed Kit plugin.

    Thanks again,
    Konstantin from Baqend

    Hi Konstantin,

the plugin I installed is linked in my post above.
It is a debug helper for Imagify, so to reproduce the issue you’ll need to install Imagify first (and sign up for a free account, but no credit card data is required, and you can get it deleted any time).
Once Imagify has been activated, you can download Imagify Tools from the GitHub repo linked above, install it manually, and activate it. A new admin menu item named “Imagify Tools” will appear; click that menu item, and you should be redirected to your plugin’s settings page instead of the settings page of Imagify Tools.

Note that I noticed this in one customer’s environment and didn’t have a chance to reproduce it elsewhere; so I could be mistaken and the issue could be unrelated to your plugin. However, in that one environment, the wrong redirect happened consistently. I was not able to reach the other plugin’s settings page.

    Hi Caspar,

I am sorry, I did not realise that there was a link! I installed the plugin to my demo WordPress instance and could reproduce and fix the bug. The fix will be released with Version 1.11.1 today! Thanks again for your kind help!

    Have a nice day,
    Konstantin
