[Plugin: SEO Ultimate] Auto Generate Meta For Posts/Pages

What happened to the development of this plugin and these features?

Does no one work on this plugin any more? That’s a real shame.

I was hoping for at least a mass single post meta keywords editor, kind of like the meta descriptions editor. It doesn’t help much with the tags already in place but at least it’s something.

Is this plugin’s development dead?

Development is not dead. On the contrary, there are many new features being developed behind-the-scenes. There will be a series of new releases in the next few days. The keywords editor is coming very soon, probably in the next 24 hours.

But what about descriptions auto-generator? It still doesn;t work.

@jeremanu: The descriptions auto-generator works fine for me. The {excerpt} variable pulls whatever you have typed into the post’s “Excerpt” box. Does it fail to work for you even if you type in an excerpt?

I don’t know if this works with excerpt box, but it doesn’t work fine with doing excerpt from the posts content, I mean the description isn’t done, there’s just no any description generated.
Sometimes it generate but in a strange way, for example with wordpress plugin like ‘yet another releated posts’ when there is added ‘no releated posts’ then seo ultimate does the description tag with content=”no releated posts”, lol.

Ok so the update went through and so far so good, but it would be better if keywords editor displayed by latest posted (which is default for viewing posts list in admin) instead of alphabetical.

Okay, is there any command instead of {excerpt} which can I write in meta descriptions menu? I would like to have auto-generated description from post, like in other seo plugins it works fine. I think it would be good, because excerpt box is often not filled up (don’t remember to do it usually, it’s not that important). Answer, please.

Any update on auto generated keywords? I’m planning on switching over as I need to ditch our rating plugin, and this seems to be the only SEO with Google Rich Snippets. But Keyword generation based off WP Categories and WP Keywords is a biggie in my book.
