[Plugin: SEO Ultimate] Add a {description} variable for categories meta description

I would like the description for the category pages as the meta description. I’ve been playing around for a few hours and I’m having no luck, just uncovering more bugs…
At the moment I have to manually add the meta description for each page, and then apostrophe’s are escaped like you can see on my novelty books category the meta description is “Nothing beats the good ol\\\’ printed paper”… which has first escaped the apostrophe, then I added another description to a different page with the plugin, and it double escaped the slash as well. I don’t want to have to edit the description each time I add a page…
I’d like to be able to enter {description} on the meta description Categories tab so it takes the category description and puts it in. Is this currently possible?
