[Plugin: SEO Auto Linker] v0.7 updated but still shows update is available

    Installed the latest v0.7, but the SEO Auto Linker Migration plugin keeps showing an update is available:
    i.e.
    There is a new version of SEO Auto Linker Migration available. View version 0.7 details or update automatically.

    I’ve repeatedly updated it but it still thinks there is a new version available.

    Would be grateful if this could be fixed.

  • I thought it was something I had done because I am also having the same problem. The plugin appears to still work for me.

    I’m also getting this.

    In addition if you try to uninstall the migration tool, it tried to uninstall the main plugin too.

    Hi guys, I’m working on this right now. You should have a fix by the end of the day — the migration tool will still be a separate plugin.

    In the meantime, you can just change the Version header in seo-auto-linker/seoal-migration.php to 1000 or something really high instead of Thereisnoversion.

    I wasn’t aware of the issues the WP repo would have with two plugins in the same folder.

    Resolved with 0.7.1 (hopefully!).

    Thanks! Love the plugin! Can we delete the migration after updating or just leave it deactivated?

    @markbrian You’ll have to leave it for now. I’m not sure what will happen if you try to delete it to be honest — WordPress does weird stuff with more than one plugin in a directory. I will remove it once on the next point release (0.8) most likely. Glad you like the plugin!
