[Plugin: Send Comment Moderation E-mail only to Post Author] Author Opt-Out (Feature Request)

    To be clear: a moderation notification will go only to the author of the post that has received the comment, not to every author.

    If this plugin had a feature that allowed me to select specific authors that wish to opt out of all comment notification, it would be perfect.

    Just like regular comment notifications, the comment moderation notifications do not have a specific opt out.

    These rules can only be set on a global level by Admin and are handled by WordPress core functionality, not by this plugin. The plugin only changes the recipient of these notifications…

    It’s worth noting that moving comment notification settings into the user realm has been talked about for years (8 and counting)… and looked close to happening with 3.5, but alas PUNT! I doubt anyone wants to write a plugin adding options to user profiles with how close this is getting into core, but then someone probably said and thought that 8 years ago too…

    Until that happens this is a nice simple plugin (Thanks @ravanh)
