Plugin Self Creates "Photo of the Day" Page

* Landing pages will now really only be created when the actually are going to be used and no longer when the link type does not ask for a linkpage.

2. If you use the shortcode method, include the album like in:

If you use the widget, select the album on the widget activation screen

I also have problem with this self-creating pages. I know have 4 pages of Photo of the day on my website and I DON’T want this.
And i don’t want to create menus either.
I try to delete the plug-in in hope that the pages should disappear, but they are still there??! ?? So I had to reinstall it but now I don’t find the pages on my pages-side. So I can delete them.
What should I do? I only want to have the pages deleted and then delete the plug-in. How can I do that? Thankful for your help.

Are you really asking on this forum how to delete a wp page? Go to the Pages menu item on the left sidebar of the wp dashboard screen. Tick the boxes of the pages you want to delete, select bulk action Move to trash, and press the Apply button.

If you go to Photo Albums -> Settings admin page, open Table VI, open subtable A and select no link at all, lightbox or the plain photo (file) under Link type, there will no longer a landingpage be created.

Of course I know how to delete a page!
But those 4 pages are not visibly on the pages side, so that’s why I can’t delete them cause they are not there.
But I will try the other option. Thanks.

Hello again! Now I have try to do what you said could stop this. But its still 4 Photo of the day pages left and I can’t find them on the page-side. If I click on the pages in my website the website can’t find the pages…
And when I did the things you said about Link type the widget disappear. ?? I’d liked the widget but not the pages.
Do you know what I do next if I can’t find the pages in the admin page? Can I find them some other place so I can delete them?

You have not 4 pages, but 4 entries in the default menu. It appears that one can not remove items from the default menu. If you agree this is a bug, it is a wp bug, not a wppa+ bug.

Why are you so afraid to create a custom menu???

Hi again, sorry for late answer. Have been away for awhile.
No I don’t want menues I want to have my website as it was.
But I really don’t know what you mean about 4 entries? Have you been on my website and look. Its 4 pages in the upper menu bar that I don’t find anywhere so I can delete them. And I don’t find those pages in the menu-field either. And when I press on Photo of the day-page it say this:
This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
“It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help.”
But now It has stop to self-creating those pages So thats a really good plus.
Please can you help me find out whats the problem is or tell me who I can contact instead!

In your sites menu there are 4 menu items DAGENS FOTO
These are links in your DEFAULT menu that point to pages you have deleted.

The problem with the default wp menu is, that you can not remove page items.

That is why i told you that you should create a custom menu, it is exactly the same as the default menu, except that you can manually add and remove items. Once again, i do really not understand what your problem is with creating a custom menu. Why are you making things so difficult for yourself???

If you want to remove the link ( to a page that no longer exists ) from the photo of the day, go to Photo albums -> Settings admin page,
Open Table VI ( Links ) by clicking on its banner, likewise open subtable A ( Links from images in WPPA+ Widgets ), and select no link at all under Link type.

I have already don that with no link at all. Not working.
I have now tired to create menus. And it looks fantastic (with no Photo of the day) if only the menus should work with my theme Picolight/Picomol..
It seems that I could only create one menu with 8-10 pages in it. I cant get it to work with all my pages, and its really annoying. Its only put in double of everything there too.
I’m getting really frustrating now. I put so much time in this technical website thing every day and nothing could work easily. But I maybe have to contact the Picolight developer and see if they can help me.

No one have helped me in the other forums when I have asked about creating menus.
Please can you help me and answer how many pages I can put in menus? Cause it seems that I have to many pages to create a good working menu. What should I do?
This is the bloody WPPA fault who start to create the damn Dagens Foto page…. and that I have to try change theme to get the menu work but it not working in this theme either. And Im about go crazy soon.
Can you please help me and answer if I have to many pages to create a menu and if it is another way to get the dagens foto away?!!

Sorry for very long delayed answer. I been traveling and working.
I can email you a login and you can test it.
I haven’t got the menu to work properly. I have tried so many things… I even delete the first menu I created and try to create a new one. But that not working.
I have got answer that this problem with that its only 16 pages that stay in the menu are a server problem. But my server doesn’t know what it is either. Some people said that the max_vars should be in 5000, and my server say that they already have it on 5000. So they cant do anything about it.
I waited for the WordPress update but when it come this problem remains…
I switch theme and have been in contact with the developer of the theme and they said that this problem isn’t a theme related problem, its a server problem.. but server don’t find whats wrong.
So now I actually don’t know what to do. I’m really tiered of this problem now.

The login works, but i am apparently not an administrator: i can not edit menus.
