I can’t figure this out. I am the super admin for a multisite installation at our university and the main/top level site has the NextGEN Gallery plugin installed and activated.

For some reason, when I create new sites, the NextGEN Gallery plugin will *sometimes* suddenly show up – just magically installed and activated, along with the other plugins that are network active.

The plugin is not being activated by users because the plugin has been activated BEFORE I added any other users!

That said, I can’t consistently replicate this — but has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering. Thanks!

    Hi @hmacdermott,

I am sorry in case that I haven’t correctly understood your question.

As long as I know, if you are Network Installing or Network Activating a plugin, it will appear as automatically installed and respectively automatically activated for each of the sites from that network.

So you wanted to point that in some other cases, it doesn’t appear as installed and activated for some of the sites from the same Network? Perhaps the site admins have the rights to deactivate the plugin and they have deactivated NextGen plugin from their sites located in your Network?
