plugin seems activated but not in action

    I used the latest version of the plugin for my development environment, PHP 5.6.6. Everything works fine.

    When I uploaded to the web server, which is running on PHP 5.4.27-1+deb.sury.org~precise+1, on the frontend it works. But at the admin side, the language switcher tabs are not seen. When I check the code, the related dom elements are not present at all.

    I reset all the data and made a clean install, tried the default themes, nothing has changed.
