Plugin Search technique

  • I must be doing it wrong because despite hearing everyone say, “There’s a Plugin for that”, I seldom seem to be able to find plugins I seek. For example, I would like a plugin that facilitates having a FAQ on a page where the answers are collapsed showing only the questions and the user can either expand individual questions/answers or the entire page full of questions and answers.

    So I search for FAQ as a key word and the search returns a bunch of SEO plugins.

    Can anyone suggest a better technique… and/or, in this case, a particular FAQ plugin?

    Another example – tying to find a plugin that will automatically resize images to fit in the Prettyphoto gallery windows… the search returns almost anything but what I actually need and want.
