• Great plugin! Certainly does most everything it should out of the box. I’ve run into a few issues, though. If anyone knows of any solutions, I’d really appreciate the info. ??

    – The searching of custom taxonomies may not be working or it’s based on term slugs, rather than names, which maybe doesn’t work the same way (not sure). I have a tag, “men”, but it’s not being picked up by Search Everything. The only reason I can come up with its not working is that either this feature is broken or it’s using slugs for the search. In the case of this site, that won’t work, because I have multiple “men” slugs, but they’re men-something or something-men, if that makes sense.

    – I have a lot of metadata for a website I’m building, and while I need Search Everything to generally pickup all metadata, it would be good to be able to exclude other custom fields. Some of the custom fields I’m dealing with are URLs for other custom fields. It’s not very helpful or good for Search Everything to pull info from the custom fields that are URLs. For example, some of those custom field URLs have the word “comments” in them, so when doing a search for “men”, Search Everything serves up those posts as being relevant when they’re not.

    – I, too, am having an issue with multiple words in a search. It actually breaks the results entirely (i.e., nothing comes up when it should).

Other than these two issues, this is a great plugin. Much better than some of the others I’ve tried for this sort of thing.
