[Plugin: Search Everything] Comment authors not being found

I have a comment posted by a reader with the last name “hiner”:

When I activate Search Everything to “Search comment authors” and do a search for “hiner” I get no results.

Is this plugin being maintained? I see a number of unanswered problem reports.
