  • Same here.

Removing the plugin via FTP solved the issue.

You should probably update it via FTP. This update does not include the classes, images, or the languages directories.

Version 1.2.2 solves the problem. Just upload it.

    Seems really careless to me.

A message saying, “do you want to update automatically”, you say “yes” and your site goes down.

You can’t say it’s careless as the solution has been delivered as soon as the problem was known.
A error is always possible even with the greatest care. Are you unerring ? If so, just tell me the trick…

    Regards,

    Of course I make mistakes.

    We all do.

But this was a pretty major one and I wonder how much it was tested before being released.

I do appreciate all the people that work on plug-ins with little or no reward expected; but bringing down sites?

In fairness, I’m not a programmer so I don’t know how easy it is to check a plugin before releasing it.

But it would seem that this was simply a clash between WordPress and the plug-in and not between the update and other plug-ins.
