I have noticed that none of my emails to their support address ever got a reply, and I paid full price for the Pro add-on plus the themes. My emails have all been ignored. Anyone know of another plugin that does the same kind of things?

Thinking of de-activating this plug-in – but not sure what will happen with the re-curring payments? Does anyone have any thoughts?

Also, does anyone have any recommends for a similar plug-in?

    All help gratefully received.

Your subscriptions will still be intact. If you followed the s2Member directions and properly set up PayPal’s behind-the-scenes inter-server communications (notifications), then whenever PayPal tries to notify your server of a subscriber change, your WordPress install won’t be able to understand (once you remove s2Member plugin). You would need to go to PayPal and turn off those notifications. PayPal will ding-dong you via email until you get that done. Your site will lose any protection features (for pages, posts, files, URIs, etc).

s2Member is now updated to be compatible with WP 3.1, and the update adds faster speeds and many new features. I am pleased with it, even though I am still frustrated by the lack of any reply to my emails to their support address.
