• I recently installed the Rotating tweets plugin
    Strange characters appeared on many of my posts,
    That was the only update I had done on an otherwise functional site.
    It seems you have addressed this and released an updated plugin

    But what about those who were caught, Any idea how to remove these strange characters ?

    Example,

    America’s Own approach

    Appears as

    Americaa€?s own approach

    so an apostrophe ‘ is appearing as a€?

    Thank you!!

    Would Just like to add,
    I did read elsewhere, since posting, about commenting out the wp-config.php file entry

    This has “fixed it” but i’m wondering if its the best solution

    /** Database Charset to use in creating database tables. */
    //define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    /** The Database Collate type. Don’t change this if in doubt. */
    //define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);
