[Plugin: Rotating Posts] Brakes WP 2.8.1

I just discovered this plugin yesterday and i have about a million uses for it. Problem is i’m using WP 2.8.1, is there any chance of this plugin being updated to support WordPress 2.8.1? or if not is there an other similar option.
