Plugin rewriting htacess file causes 500 Internal Server Error
-
I’m running WP 3.9, plugin 4.0.23, on an Apache Linux server. Since I upgraded, saving any setting or doing anything else with the plugin rewrites the htaccess file and renders the blog unreachable. However, deleting the htaccess file brings it back. I talked with my webhost, and they said the htaccess file was giving them the following errors:
[Thu Apr 17 10:53:13 2014] [alert] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] /hsphere/local/home/username/blog.username.com/.htaccess: RewriteCond: cannot compile regular expression '^.*(request|select(?!ed)|concat|insert|union|declare).*'\n [Thu Apr 17 10:53:13 2014] [alert] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] /hsphere/local/home/username/blog.username.com/.htaccess: RewriteCond: cannot compile regular expression '^.*(request|select(?!ed)|concat|insert|union|declare).*'\n [Thu Apr 17 10:53:13 2014] [alert] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] /hsphere/local/home/username/blog.username.com/.htaccess: RewriteCond: cannot compile regular expression '^.*(request|select(?!ed)|concat|insert|union|declare).*'\n
Please advise?
