    Hi there

    In regards to the notice in the plugin:

    “This plugin is due to be retired. Changes to WordPress and Google’s free doc viewer mean that this plugin should be switched for an alternative.

    Existing gview shortcodes should still work for now.”

    Is there any timeline for this? Could the plugin stop working at any moment? Is there anywhere to see updated or get notification if anything changes?

    Thank you for posting.

    To be clear, the real concern is that Google could change or retire the underlying ‘viewer’ that they make available. We don’t have any control over that possibility.

    I don’t plan to actively release a new version of the plugin that will stop working in itself.
