[Plugin: Resume Submissions & Job Postings] Hard Code Resume Submit Button

I will look into this. I had this before I put in custom post types.
I may try to add this as an option like the archive check box, but have it set to show on default.

I have a careers page on my wordpress site that is populated by talent acquisition software from SmartRecruiters. I’m looking for a way to add a separate “Submit Resume Here” button above my job openings so if a candidate visits the site and does not see any job openings they can apply for, the can still submit their resume generically. I’m getting traffic but am afraid people are not seeing an open job they can apply for and moving on. I want to capture the resumes of those people. Plus I don’t want to create a separate page.

You should be able to just add the shortcode, [rsjpSubmit] where ever you need it to be. If you wanted to make it show it automatically sets a certain job, then add the attribute, job=”(Job Posting Slug)”.

Okay, thanks. added the code [rsjpSubmit] and previewed it. It gave me a “Submit Resume for this job” which when clicked, does nothing. Hate to be a pain but this is close to what I’m looking for. I’m looking for something that says, “Submit Resume” so something comes up that will allow them to upload their resume and then close it, which would then send to my email account. This would be above the other specific jobs that people could apply for. The Submit Resume button would be for those folks who can’t find a specific job and just want to send their resume to me. Does that make sense? And again, I apologize for being so dense.

Make sure the setting for the form page is set.

The other functionality you are talking about is not there. You would have to add code that when the button is pressed, pops up an iframe with the form page in it. Even then, it will probably be half-assed of what you want it to do.
