With each new WordPress release, it sometimes (often?) seems like what was standard functionality in one release gets eliminated, thus shifting the responsibility onto plugin authors to restore that functionality.

Nasty piece of work that… If they felt that “most people don’t use it, and it’s cluttering the interface” I can see that – but then make it an OPTION don’t delete it!

Thanks for writing this plugin! I was puzzling over the page ID in wp-list-pages, and couldn’t understand where the page ID was hiding. I didn’t realize it was gone, just figured I couldn’t find it.
