Plugin Responsive, Author.. not so much

  • A couple of glaring issues with the google maps plugin. First, The popup box and zoom bar are both rendering poorly. Second, the popup argument for the shortcode doesn’t work. If you set popup=”false”, the popup will still show. Aside from these issues, this plugin does give you a responsive google map. The reason why I’m giving this plugin 1 star is due to lack of response from the author posted after publishing it. The fact he’s active on another plugin, but not this one bugs me. Free plugin or not, if you release something on wp.org, it should actually work as described.

    .themeblvd-gmap img{ max-width:none !important; }

    fixes the issue with the popup/zoom.

    I think this issue mainly effects anyone using responsive themes or themes where the parent object has a fluid width.
