  • I seem to have the same problem. One of my sub-sites on a multisite install is now unable to upload an image uncropped. The plugin doesn’t even exist on that server anymore. Very disturbing.

    With this plugin the images are resized BEFORE being uploaded to the server.

    If you disable this plugin then that functionality should be dropped as nothing is changed in WordPress by the plugin. The plugin just filters some settings while it is installed.

    Maybe it’s WordPress resizing images after they are uploaded. It’s default behaviour for WordPress to resize your images to the maximum dimensions you set in your media settings AFTER they are uploaded (create thumbnail images sizes etc). So maybe it’s that process that is resizing your images. FTP to your web hosting and double check which images are stored on the server after an upload.
