[Plugin Request] Random user of the day every 24 hours

  • Hi there,
    I can’t code anything really. I wish I understood it but it’s beyond me.
    I’m just requesting to see if someone can throw this together quick.
    I don’t know if it’s more of just a PHP script to access the database or if a plugin is necessary.

    I want to be able to get my front page to show a random user and their avatar. Really, I’d like it to show their avatar, name, and to randomize every 24 hours without picking the same person twice in a row.
    They would be considered the random contest winner and if they contact me that day, they will win, sort of thing…

    Is it too complicated? I know most of you will be too busy but I’d REALLY apprecaite it.

    Please don’t let this easy idea go to the graveyard.
    I’ll put a link at the bottom or whever saying “Powered by yourname” with it linking your site or whatever.
    My community would really appreciate this as well as many others using wordpress.
    Drives traffic, promotes registration, promotes a lot of discussion, etc…
    Any help would be appreciated.
