    I know nothing about php unfortunatelly. Just need a few lines of code, I guess. That’s it.

    For actual WordPress plugins, try reading the documentation on Plugins.

    You don’t really need to know PHP to be able to manage plugins, but it’s still important to understand how they bolt on-to WordPress.

    And in answer to your actual question, the first thing I’d like to say is: why would you need a plugin to embed your yShout into WordPress when (as you’ve said) when

    are necessary?

    If that is the case, you can probably use sidebar widgets by creating a text widget and including the HTML code for yShout. I had a quick look at their website, and it doesn’t give any indication of how you include the shoutbox on your site but this is a common method.

    And finally, since yShout is “donation-ware”, why not just contact the developer and ask him the question?
