[Plugin: Relevanssi – A Better Search] search results bringing up excerpts of deleted posts

When I run a search, it brings up excerpts to posts that have been deleted a long time ago, over 30 days at least. Trash has been dumped. I can’t find the post ID to these posts to exclude them from the search results because the only thing that shows up is the excerpt. When you click “continue reading” it take you to a page not found page. I need to either make these ghost posts not show up in the search result excerpts or find out how to actually delete them perm. from the database.
