• Thanks for the great plugin! It drastically improved my search results. I installed it while my site was still locally hosted on my computer. Now I’m in the process of trying to launch the site on a live server, and I’m getting some error messages. I’ve looked into both, but can’t figure out what is causing the problems.

The first shows up at the top of every page, on the site as well as in the admin panel:
Notice: Undefined index: index in /mnt/stor1-wc1-dfw1/371199/387128/wptest.ctsed.com/web/content/wp-content/plugins/relevanssi/relevanssi.php on line 106

The second shows up in the Relevanssi Search Options page:
Notice: Undefined variable: relevanssi_cache in /mnt/stor1-wc1-dfw1/371199/387128/wptest.ctsed.com/web/content/wp-content/plugins/relevanssi/relevanssi.php on line 2684

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, but the messages are still popping up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sloppy programming… These are nothing dangerous and in most cases it’s a good idea to keep the notices disabled, because many programmers have bad habits that cause notices like this to pop up.

So, it’s nothing you should worry about, and I’ll clean these from the next version.

2.8.1 is out now, fixing these.

Thanks! I didn’t realize that while installing wp on the new server, debug mode somehow got turned on. After turning that off, a lot of problems were cleared up.
