(Plugin: Register Plus Redux) Registration Email not working

    I have version 3.7.3 and just installed it last night. When a user registers for the site the email that should be sent with a verification link is not sent to the user. I am testing this out before I go live with it and I need some help on this one.

    I went through the options and I do not have anything check that stops emails from being sent. I also went to the unverified users section and tried to send an email from there and nothing.

    I also checked the spam box on my gmail account and it was not in there even after multiple attempts.

    Any thoughts?

    Well the problem was that I installed this plug-in, but I did not install a SMTP plug-in first to configure the SMTP options.

    I used WP-MAIL-SMTP and then set it up for Go Daddy’s SMTP relay and it went through just fine.

    After that was done I was able to send emails from the Register Plus Redux plug-in.
