[Plugin: Register Plus Redux] Line feeds and Paragraph format for Disclaimer, terms etc.

Is there anyway to maintain the paragraph and line feeds spacing (carriage returns) in the terms of the login screen. Currently all the text is word wrapped with all the line feeds stripped out. I have tried inserting the terms (quit lengthly) as an HTML document using <p></p><br /> tags and the formatting is maintained (line breaks and pargraphs work), but it locks the scroll bar, and one cannot scroll down.
