I received a couple of emails from newly registered users that the verification replacement keyword (%verification_url%) is not being replaced with the verification URL? I went through the verification email template with a fine tooth comb and it seems nothing’s wrong – in fact, the rest of the keywords are being replaced fine – except for %verification_url%

Wrong keyword or empty value? Is anyone else facing the same problem?

    PS: I think I’ll downgrade to 3.6.17/18 for a while… ??

Good catch, there was a bug, in my keyword replacement function I was actually looking for %verification_link%, if you want to continue using 3.6.19 you can use $verification_link% or you can wait for 3.6.20 which will use the proper %verification_url%, or downgrade, your choice. dot 20 should be out today or tomorrow.

Hey, I’d upgraded to 3.6.20 but the registered user received the verification email appeared to this:

    “Verification URL: $verification_link%
Please use the above link to verify your email address and activate your account”

There is only “$verification_link%” but not the link. After that, I’d even deleted the plugin and re-installed again but same problem remained.

%verification_link% was an error, you should be using %verification_url%, if you change your message that will fix the problem.
