[Plugin: Regenerate Thumbnails] Resize error

    I have a news website and all of a sudden my thumbnails disappeared. NOTHING on the front page except advertisement images. The articles are still there but no pictures!!

    The site is PPRNNews.com

    I used regenerate and generate plugins as per the theme’s instructions and everything looked good. And I swear I cannot find a single thumbnail ANYWHERE in the directories, although individual stories have their own images.
    Here is the results for just one image:

    Total Images: 1
    Images Resized: 0
    Resize Failures: 1

    “104253319” (ID 7939) failed to resize. The error message was: Unknown failure reason.

    Any suggestions?

    The thumbnails on your site are being generated by TimThumb. Are you sure the issue is with my plugin?

    Yes I am sure. The ones you are looking at are recent images. I had to discontinue the use of your plugin due to the errors. And my upload directory has something like 19,000 different sized images, and then mulitples of these different sizes. If there was a way to delete all but the originals and start from scratch I would do it and give the plugin another try.

    Any suggestions on how to delete 18,000+ duplicates?
