[Plugin: Redirection] Will Google Analytics record visit to page before redirect?

I’ve been using Redirection for a while as a psuedo-shortlink generator – and it works great!

Now I need to do some redirection with Google Analytics tracking, like this:

1. User tries to visit my WordPress page site.com/page
2. Google Analytics records visit to site.com/page (note that Google Analytics is installed on my WordPress site, and all WP pages automatically include GA tracking code)
3. Redirection redirects users to site2.com/anotherpage

Can Redirection be configured to work in this way? If not, any suggestions?
