[Plugin: Redirection] 301 redirects don't write to httaccess

We had a previous thread on this issue, which the developer then closed because he fixed it. However, currently redirection doesn’t edit my httaccces file at all.

In fact, I can’t get redirection to work at all: even moving all the redirects to wordpress doesn’t make them work. ??
