Plugin redirect to last post edited

The plugin only works if you have set your permalink structure to something other than default or numeric.

Permalink finder can only redirect using the Post Name in the permalink to search for a similar post.

If you have this problem it means that the plugin cannot find a page that matches the request so it always will show the most recent post or page. So if this happens to you with all redirects going to the most recent post you should uninstall the plugin, because it is not right for you.

The plugin worked fine until a few months ago, a pity that you can not help me, I love your script, following some errors reported in the log:

My link structure has always been this: /%category%/%postname%/

There is a newer version on my blog page: https://www.blogseye.com that fixes these issues. You can download it from the Beta test plugins page.

The version fixed a couple of issues including a “race” situation where a page redirects to the wrong page in a loop.
