[Plugin: ReciPress] Add a shortcode to one of the fields

Is it possible to change a field of the recipress to accept php shortcodes?
For example we try this: [lockit]This is a recipe description[/lockit]
and we get all the input as output.. So the shortcodes are not working.
If we add html, it is working! How to make them accept those shortcodes?We do not want to change the source because actually we are going to use a facebook like locker who wraps around text dynamically and this cannot be added in the code.
