    Hello,

I was wondering why the plugin is not reactivated automatically after installing an update? Is that on purpose?

    Hi @antokru

After you update the plugin, are you saying it deactivates itself?

We have nothing in the code to make that happen intentionally and I have not experienced that when updating the plugin on several sites, so there must be something else going on on the site.

Yes after every update the plugin is deactivated and I have to activate it manually (if I don’t forget). This doesn’t happen with any other plugin on our website.

    Hey @antokru,

The only reason I can think that would happen is if you’re manually editing the plugin and then WordPress thinks its a brand new plugin being installed. Have you modified the code in any way before?

    Cheers,

    Hello Freddie,

no I didn’t modify the code of the plugin. I was thinking to delete the plugin an install it again. Maybe that will solve it…

    Hi @antokru

If you do that you will lose all of your custom tab data. If that’s not a problem (like you only have a few tabs and you don’t mind re-creating them) you can try uninstalling/reinstalling.
