[Plugin: Quotes Collection] 'Next Quote' function broken in Firefox

  • I’m running Quotes Collection version 1.4.2 with WP 3.01 and I noticed that the ‘Next Quote’ functionality is no longer working in the latest version of Firefox v3.6.8. It still works in Chrome so I’m thinking that its a javascript/jquery issue with the browser.

    Has anyone else had this problem? Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Ok, that is odd. After more trouble-shooting it looks like the issue was a cookie one. Once I cleared all of my cookies for the site, it started working again – which explains why it worked in Chrome and not FF… because I wasn’t logged with Chrome.

    It looks like the ‘Next Quote’ issue is still happening where I click on the ‘Next Quote’ link and the Quotes Collection content disappears. I have to reload the whole page for the functionality to start working again and then the behavior repeats. Not sure clearing the cookies is a fix.

    take a look at your theme code. maybe your jquery script conflicts with other libraries
