  • Second it. Last version that allowed use of images in quotes was 1.5.5.1; since then… frustrating. Thankfully, 1.5.5.1 still works great on new versions of WP, but sooner or later, as WP evolves, we gonna see compatibility issues.

    Oddly enough, one can still use links in quotes; what was wrong with the images, why did you have to strip ’em?..

    it’s now stripping my <h4> tags too. for some reason, it leaves <b> tags alone…

    So what is the fix? I need QC not to strip out an img tag.

    sorry for my delay… my fix had to do with the kses filtering in the plugin. glad you found your answer.

    I don’t think this thread should be marked as “resolved”: it’s not. Thank you tonesfrommars, but this is a hack, not a solution. And current choice in fixing %subj basically is a plugin hack (which will vanish in the next update) or a core hack (disappears in next WP update, and also not-so-good idea by itself).

    We need a fix from SriniG, and we need it in shape of the updated plugin.

    Fixed and updated to 1.5.8. Now you can have all html tags that are allowed in posts.
