• First off, I have to give many thanks to the author for creating such an amazing plug-in. This is an incredible tool.

This is my attempt to give back. I have created a very quick instruction guide to the Visual Editor in an html page (please note I just slapped it together, so I still need to proof-read it). My intention is to help my site users navigate the powerful Visual Editor tool. Please feel free to copy the html source code and images from my site and edit for you own needs on your own site. Note: it is written for the way I use the plugin on my site, so may want to modify it for your purposes.

Awesome. Great plugin + great initiative by Klint01!
    Problem with uploading thogh:

In IE i dont get the the browse icon (located at the end of the Image URL input box).
In Firefox I do, but under the Upload tab, I dont see any content…

Moreover, event if we did solve that, this set of steps is now very obvious for the average new bisitor to my site. We couldnt invent a simpler upload tool, could we?

oh forgot: this is my site:

I checked your site. In IE, Chrome and Firefox I don’t see a upload icon but perhaps you disabled guest uploading. Are you sure Firefox shows the icon and IE doesn’t (with the same settings)?
Is it possible for you to create a temporary account for me on your blog so I can check things? If so, please mail me an account.

    Hello inapan,

    Great plugin, love it.

I was wondering if you know how I could disable certain categories for posting? I have tried various plugins such as Restrict Categories” and RoleScoper to set restrictions for category posting, but it seems that since Quick Post works from the frontend, that it bypasses whatever category settings for role or permissions.

I would like for quick post to show the dropdown or checklist including the parents because it shows the organizational structure, but don’t want authors to be able to post to those cats.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
