[Plugin: Quick Post Widget] Can 'post from a page ' function display posts on same page

  • Hi,
    I’ve just installed the quick-post-widget on a new install of wordpress running in localhost. The install has gone ok. I’m using the ‘post from a page’ function; I can post ok but the post itslf doesn’t display on the same page. I’ve set categories but I can’t get the posts to appear on the designated page.

    If anyone has ideas on solving this problem I’d be very grateful to hear from you.

    To answer my own question, the solution is the blog-in-blog plugin.

    If you have a similar problem give it a try.

    Hi,

    I’ve managed to get the ‘post from a page’ function on multiple ( category) pages and to get new posts to appear on the designated category page underneath the text editor box.

    What I would now like to do is to fix the post category according to the category page so logged in subscribers can only post a message according to the category page, ie if they’re on category page A they cannot choose to post a message to page B because they are not given the choice. I would then like to hide the category box.

    I hope, dear readers, you can understand what I’m trying to achieve and come up with a few ideas.
