I’d like to create a basic ‘contact me’ page on my wordpress site.

I’ve looked into other plugins and in order for the contact messages to get to my email inbox, I have to give the plugin permission to read, write and delete my emails (something I’m not comfortable with). If I don’t do that, the messages stay in plugin and I have to login to the WP site and check them there.

Does the Forminator plugin deliver contact-related emails directly to the email inbox w/o any email permission-granting issues?

    Thanks.

    Hi @kufloyd

I hope you are doing well today.

By default all Forminator modules store data in database and you can see all submissions in Forminator -> Submissions.

In each module, like form for example, in edit mode and in settings tab you can control this and disable “Store Submissions in Database” feature. With that all your submissions will end only in your email box.

Email notifications in Forminator use WordPress “wp_mail()” function which in most cases simply uses the standard PHP “mail()” function, so there is no such thing like asking for permission.

    Kind Regards,
    Kris
