[Plugin: Query Posts] I would like a query-comments instead

    There are lots of plugin about Posts. ( this one is very good ). But ….

    Except “Post-lister”, that can manage “comments” I wander if “query-posts” can have a sibling for comments. See, I want to show ” Random ” comments in my sidebar, with the control of “query-posts”.

    Can it be done, or is there other choices ?

    Cool idea. I’ve never needed it, so it’s never crossed my mind to look into the feasibility of doing it.

    What sort of features would you be looking for out of it that are specific to comments?

    Hi,

    For me, my goal is to have ” random comments ” in my sidebar. And have the control to show or not the basic metadata.

    Author name (full name or not) – link to the comment ( title ) – excerpt –

    Pierre dans Jour 47
    Rebonjour Yves, Je fais […]

    With the control of formating the divers data. Be abble to include/exclude category /posts.

    But poeple will surely want more complex meta – grabing,

    I use HERE “Post-lister“, but the author stop it’s development, For me it’s half working, I can not grab the name of the comment author and choose categories.

    Important thing for me is : ORDER?BY?RAND()
