• Appologies, I’ve previously posted this query in the wrong place.

    1. I’ve used the list shortcode, but only three Testimonials show up on a page, using the Limit posts to 10 shortcode, makes no difference, how can I resolve this?

    2. I would like to remove the date stamp from the Testimonials.

    3. How do I remove the Read More button? It is showing up even though none of my Testimonials have an excerpt.

    Many Thanks For Your Advice

Can you post a link to the site where the rotator is located?

    Hi,

atm, as there is an existing website, I’ve had to edit the host file to get the new site to show up (for admin only), so it isn’t possible to publicly view it, I’m using the plugin on the recommendation of the creator of WP Midway Theme, as it is supposed to work alongside his existing, slideshow plugin, it does give me a page list, but with only three testimonials on it, date stamps and read more buttons which aren’t needed. Sorry I can’t be of more help. ??

Can you post the exact shortcode you are using please?

    Sure: [testimonial_rotator id=12123 format=”list”]

I’m not sure where the date stamps are coming from. This might be added from another plugin. Can you take a screenshot of the plugin and send it to [email protected]

We can continue this there. For now, let’s try to knock off the other two. Can you see if this changes anything?

Unfortunately, nothing changed, I’ve emptied history/cache, but the page remains the same.

In your admin under ‘Settings’ -> ‘Reading’ can you tell me what the setting ‘Blog pages show at most’ reads?

Ah, it shows 3!!! I’ll change it and see what happens.

Cool Thanks! Now I have the right number of Testimonials showing, I didn’t realise that the plugin was using blog posts as my site is set to a static homepage, perhaps the date and read more fixes will be in my theme, blog options?

I’ve emailed you a screenshot re: buttons and date.
