  • Also experiencing issues as orbital described. Wondering if its WordPress 3.1 related?

Update: I’ve had some success and managed to get this plugin working with WP 3.1. My earlier issue was related to caching.

All data fields (including custom list fields) are sent to MailChimp EXCEPT the comment author name?! Can’t work it out ??

Should the field be NAME or AUTHOR or ???

We ended up rewriting the code to use the CURL function and got it to work. We had no luck whatsoever in getting any details to MailChimp until we made this change. One of my developers got the plugin working in its original form on an installation of WP without any other plugins active but once we activated the plugins that we needed it stopped working and we couldn’t track down the reason. The rewrite was the only option

@creativeworldstudio and orbital: Sorry guys, just recently regained acces to this plugin cause of a WP migrating problem with my previous account. I’ll have the plugin updated as soon as possible!

Just put up the new plugin: Newsletter Sign-Up. Using that one is highly recommended.

It now also supports CURL and uses much better coding. ??
