[Plugin: Pull This] Note about display in multiple entries

  • Plug-in works like a charm. The ability to have more than one quote by specifying id=”” works great.

    I did notice that you need to employ this even if you have one quote per entry if they’ll ever display on a page where there’s more than one entry with a pull quote.

    For example, on my blog home there were 8 entries. The 1st and 6th each had a single quote. Worked fine when i looked them as single entries, but when listed on the homepage, the same quote appeared in both.

    So I’ve been adding an id=”” to all my entries to avoid this. Would be nice not to have to do this — perhaps a string that includes the post number could be added to the id automatically. But overall not a big deal.

    Wow, that’s a really obvious flaw there. You can probably tell I was only using this on blogs without the traditional index view or else I would have thought of that.

    I’ll fix this in a future version. Hopefully soon. (I see it’s already been two months since you posted this, so you’re probably ok with that. ??
