[Plugin: ProPlayer] Songs get cut off

  • Hi,

    I have a custom playlist of songs located on the same server of my wordpress installation. I’m running the site off a dedicated server with relatively light traffic.

    Buffering was very quick, takes only a few seconds to load up. But on first load the songs would always be cut short (e.g. 3min 45sec songs might show up as only 3min 25sec long, 4min 15sec songs only 3min 59sec, etc.) It plays up to this shortened length and goes straight on to the next song, which plays immediately as it’s already load – but likely also to be a shortened version.

    If I refresh the site a few times though, the songs would load completely (e.g. 3min 45sec songs shows up as 3min 45sec long, etc.)

    Any solutions?

  • @darkwoof, I’m using a beta version of JW Player on the 4.5.1 release. So it might be a known issue about that. Personally I didn’t have any problem so far. The other thing would your skin, r u using default skin?

    Hi, yep. Tried the default skin.. It’s okay, maybe I’ll try again after the next update. I’m currently using another plugin instead but I like how ProPlayer allows me to switch the order of songs easily and generally seems less cluttered. =)

    Even me having same issue ..can u tell me how to solve this , as i want the player to run on my [Mod note : link removed] website
