  • I get fatal error too. WordPress 3.2.2.

    Would be nice to have that working.

    I get fatal error in the german version of world press 3.3.2. but not in the italian version…

    Plugin Contributor Enej Bajgori?

    Hi ghi07

    Thanks for reporting this issue.
    Can you explain a bit more. I think we removed the file webscraper in version 1.1.2 –

    I just tested it now and I didn’t have any problems. I think if you do a fresh install (delete the plugin and install it again) you should be good to go.

    Cheers

    Hello again.
    I’ve retested on two WordPress 3.3.2 sites, one of which has no other plugins installed, and unfortunately the problem still exists. I’m installing Profile CCT from the official WordPress site. When installed it shows as Profile Custom Content Type Version 1.1.8.2 by Enej Bajgoric, Eric Jackish, Aleksandar Arsovski, CTLT, UBC.
    Upon activation it gives the error message:

    Fatal error: fatal flex scanner internal error–end of buffer missed in /home/ghi07/virgin.angeleshill.com/wp-content/plugins/profile-custom-content-type/views/fields/webscraper.php on line 2

    Thanks for your support.
    Greg.

    I opened up webscraper.php, and the first error I see is that the comment block is not closed:

    <?php
    /*
    add_action('profile_cct_admin_pages', 'profile_cct_add_webscraper_fields_filter', 10, 1);

    Tried closing it to see if that would fix everything, but then there was another error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in mywebsite.com/blog/wp-content/plugins/profile-custom-content-type/views/fields/webscraper.php on line 10

    Removed the unnecessary parenthesis from line 10, and the plugin still won’t work. It continues to cause a “fatal error,” but WordPress doesn’t give details this time.

    This plugin needs a good bit of work, it seems!
