• I just installed Profile Builder and am very optimistic about using it, however upon testing it I am getting the following error when I click the activation link in the email “Invalid activation key!”.

    I am testing the free version, and downloaded it through the wordpress admin section.

    Anything I am missing? I am really hoping to use this and likely purchase the pro version if I can get this to work.

  • New users aren’t getting any email at all.
    Admin does get an email.

    I’ve checked the spam and nothing in there. Any ideas?

    I have recently started having trouble with the plugin giving the same Invalid Activation Key error mentioned here.

    Could this be related to upgrading to 3.5? This has previously worked for the site I’m working on. I didn’t develop it, but have taken over maintaining it. The plugin seems pretty straight forward with minimal options, so I’m not sure what could be going on.

    Hello Kirk,

    I just tested it out on a 3.5 WP installation and all works fine. Are you sure there isn’t any conflict with another plugin? Maybe deactivate them for testing purposes (also, use one of the default themes)

    First, thank you for the reply and checking that.

    The weird thing is that this functionality had been working until recently. I didn’t notice exactly when as I hadn’t tried the register functionality for a while. I will turn off the other plugins and see what happens.
